Ms.
Murphy received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993 from the University of Colorado
and her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1998. During
her second year of law school, Ms. Murphy studied European law and economics in
Paris, France through the University of Tulane. Also during law school, Ms. Murphy
dedicated her time to the University of Colorado Legal Aid program, where she
represented clients in family law matters and social security disputes. Ms. Murphy
has been affiliated with Weinberger & Cavanaugh, P.C., since 1997 first as a
law clerk and then as an associate attorney. Ms.
Murphy's practice includes insurance coverage analysis and insurance defense,
subrogation, construction law, employment law, workers' compensation defense and
litigation. Ms. Murphy's law practice involves counseling clients as to their
rights and obligations with respect to various contractual relationships, such
as employment contracts, leasing contracts and construction contracts. Ms. Murphy
drafts contracts and other commercial agreements, and works successfully with
her clients to develop contracts which address their specific needs. Ms. Murphy's
litigation practice allows her to represent clients in all forums in Colorado
including the United States District Court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Murphy's
affiliations include an active membership in the Denver and Colorado Bar Associations
and Colorado Defense Lawyers Association. |
